Finished in Daytona Yellow over a black interior with Houndstooth inserts, this 1969 Camaro RS/SS has a killer blend of both Pro-Touring and Pro-Street attributes. The restoration is impeccable, the parts are top notch, and the ride is something else.
Few cars carry as direct a link between motorsports and the showroom as the Boss 302. Parnelli Jones drove a Mustang, powered by a canted-valve, hand built, 5 liter engine and four speed manual, and you could go to your local dealer and have one, too! Hey—the production cars even ran his stripes! A big carb, a big intake, big heads opened a lot of eyes to small block power, and the power waiting to be unleashed with a simple set of headers and an aggressive cam are the stuff of legend. This example here is quite the street fighter, packing the Boss engine, 3.91 gears and little else. It’s as close as you could get to a Mustang race car with license plates in 1970! When it comes to protecting your car, you want the best car insurance that money can buy; or do you? While having car insurance is generally legally required in most regions, motor insurance companies can make additional profits by offering more extensive insurance packages to their drivers. These insurance packages may include various benefits apart from car accident repairs, such as roadside assistance or routine car maintenance. This is obviously a direct contrast to very basic packages, such as with liability coverage, which will only cover the cost of a third party’s repairs should the insured driver get into a car accident.
Winter is upon us, and that usually means snow, ice or at least a thick film of frost on every pavement and road first thing on a morning. While pedestrians will have to try their best not to slip, motorists have more to be wary of at this time of year. Winter is the most difficult time of year for drivers, as they have to contend with patches of black ice, heavy snow drifts, freezing rain or, at the very least, a few patches of frost that show no signs of thawing.
American muscle cars and beautiful girls is one of the most common combination known to every muscle cars fan. Some of you might have seen these awesome photo shoots of Jenni and a Vette from the great HighTechCorvette.com, but we wanted to cheer you up with this post.
Hello, guys! Today I want to share with you a short video, made by one of our readers – Kelby Roberson – a very ambitious 17-year old young filmmaker on youtube with some serious equipment. Kelby dropped me a line on Facebook with his video and when I saw if, I decided to post it and support this fan.
This lovely muscle car was one clean Boss before it was stripped to bare metal and restored by the prosat Santa Barbara Muscle Cars. They stripped it to a shell, cleaned any trouble spots (there weren’t many), and then refinished it in the original hue. But instead of ancient enamel, it now sports two-stage urethane paint, which gives the rejuvenated Boss a depth and clarity that makes it dazzling in the sunlight. As if that’s not enough, there were only 693 Competition Yellow over black Boss 302s built in 1970, making this a somewhat rare piece.
Here we go with the 2012 SEMA show muscle cars. As you will see in the image gallery with high quality pictures below, we’ve gathered about 20 super cool muscle cars, prepared by famous performance and styling names in the automotive industry. However, we think that the 2011 SEMA show offered more joy for the eye than this year’s gathering, but this is just our opinion. Enjoy!
