2008 Dodge Challenger Mr. Norms Convertible

2008 Dodge Challenger Mr. Norms Convertible - Muscle Cars BlogI think that RK Motors Charlotte is a great muscle cars expert and here come the details:

The first thing you notice about this car is what you didn’t notice first: it’s a convertible. Dodge hasn’t built any Challenger convertibles [yet] but this one looks so right that it takes a second glace for most people to understand that this is not OEM, but an exceptional custom piece. The second thing you notice is that it’s not just a Challenger that has gone topless, but rather an extremely special vehicle: Mr. Norm (Krause) had this car built for himself, and it is not only a convertible, but it is also the first Mr. Norm’s Super Challenger, the first Kenne-Bell supercharged Super Challenger, and was custom built (as a hardtop) for the 2008 SEMA show in Las Vegas. Forty years ago, this would be like getting the first Hemi ‘Cuda convertible ever built, and if you’re a fan of Mr. Norm, perhaps it’s even sweeter than that.

Oh, and did I mention that it makes 600 horsepower? Click on Read more and check out the FANTASTIC gallery!

Widebody Dodge Challenger by WCC

Widebody Dodge Challenger by WCC - Muscle Cars BlogYou would have seen this Challenger if you recently watched the latest episode of West Coast Customs ‘Street Customs’ TV show that aired on TLC on March 26th, 2009. This one-off creation belongs to Joshua ‘Chop’ Tobin aka the “King of Cars”, who is the owner of Las Vegas based car dealership, Towbin Dodge. The entire pimp job was done by the guys at West Coast Customs (WCC) and we must say that they have come up with something really good.

When money is not an issue, the number of things that can be done are, well infinite. The real show stoppers on this car are those oversized wide rear fenders, white paint with black striping, a new spoiler at the rear and blacked out rear lights. The star of the show however are the magnificent Asanti deep dish rims. The car is fitted with 24 inches up front and 26 inches at the rear. They seem truly special and the white-black matte finish combination along with their design and the depth of the rear rims are quite stunning. The only sad part are the disc brakes which look like milk bottle tops inside these huge rims and fail to fill out the space inside.
