Mazda team reveals further plans for smartphone incorporation features

Mazda North American Operations announced that Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration systems are already available as a dealer-installed update for applicable Mazda vehicles – the ones produced after 2014 and featuring MAZDA CONNECT infotainment system.

The dealer-installed update comes with numerous hardware and software features s faster-charging 2.1-amp USB ports in addition to the latest version of MAZDA CONNECT. Both infotainment systems have appeared in 2018 Mazda6 and are available in 2019 Mazda CX-9 and 2019 Mazda CX-5.

As you might know, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto systems enable occupants to safely use smartphone applications through MAZDA CONNECT infotainment feature and aid drivers to stay connected while are still focused on the driving. Mazda’s idea for minimizing distractions while driving is possible, thanks to the Commander knob multi-function button that aid driver in the quest to stay focused on the road and avoid unnecessary moves and distractions.

Mazda North American Operations is headquartered in Irvine, California and oversees sales, marketing, parts and customer service support of vehicles in the United States and Mexico through 700 dealers. Furthermore, operations in Mexico are managed by Mazda Motor de Mexico in Mexico city.
