CUPRA unveiled the new Ateca Special Edition at the 2019 Geneva International Motor show. This is an unique vehicle with tons of features and technologies. It brings greater levels of performance, sophistication and appeal to the high-performance SUV segment.
CUPRA Ateca Special Edition will be available in limited numbers and would remain true to its nature and brand tradition. It features striking exterior look, comfortable interior and a high-performance drivetrain system.
The heart and soul of new CUPRA is the advanced and direct-injected four-cylinder 2-liter TSI petrol engine, which generates the remarkable 300hp and 400nm of torque. What is also notable about the drivetrain system is the fine-tuned seven-speed DSG gearbox and the 4Drive-AWD system that together ensure smooth and progressive acceleration and easy and precise steering.
Exterior design
CUPRA Ateca’s enhanced performance is matched by its sexy exterior design. Emphasized by large 20-inch copper alloys, the vehicle showcases muscular and yet elegant stance. There are numerous Copper Carbon Fiber components that bring sophisticated look to the door mirrors and rear spoiler. Enhancements also include the introduction of Akrapoviç exhaust system, which lowers the overall weight of the vehicle and adds some more notable and exclusive roar.
Interior design
Inside, CUPRA Ateca Special Edition offers high levels of sophistication, visual appeal and overall smooth ambience. This is achieved by including Petrol Blue Alcantara color on the front bucket sports seats, rear seats and door panels. The design team has also revised the dashboard and all controls in order to make them easy for use for all occupants.
