Volkswagen of America, Inc. proudly announces that the new Atlas has been recognized as one of the 10 Best Family Cars of 2019 list by Parents Magazine!
Editors have praised the machine for its ample legroom and cargo space and its fuel economy. Something more, the SUV comes with incredible warranties and tons of safety features.
In order to compile the list, Parents Magazine team started with about 30 minivans and SUVs that have passed all these mandatory government safety tests and examinations and scored good results. What the team has done is to install multiple car seats in each machine and then a “Mom Mechanic” weighted in on fuel economy, maintenance costs and driving features.
As you might well remember, VW Atlas was introduced back in 2017 and was especially designed for families. Its heir, the 2019 version, has built upon these strong foundations and now features a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine and an optional 3.6-liter V6 system. Available in seven trim levels, S, SE, SE w/ Technology, SE w/Technology R-Line® SEL, SEL R-Line, and SEL Premium, it also features 4Motion AWD and numerous more drivetrain technologies.
