Subaru of America, Inc. announced today that the 2019 Ascent has earned a spot on Autoreader’s list of Best New Cars for 2019 for meeting the needs of contemporary family with accent on comfort and safety features.
Autoreader team based the winners on a wide range of criteria, including interior comfort and components, build quality, standard features and ride quality. Each machine was agreed upon unanimously by the entire editorial team. Furthermore, in order to be considered, a machine must be of current or next model-year and available for purchase at the time of the awards.
As it comes to the vehicle itself, the new Ascent is the largest Subaru model ever created and is the mobile headquarters for the whole family. With voluminous cabin and cargo space, Ascent provides room for every passenger and their cargo.
Furthermore, the 3-row Ascent is equipped with Subaru
Symmetrical All-Wheel-Drive and Active Torque Vectoring and a revised 2.4-liter
BOXER engine that ensures neat performance rates and fuel economy. Also, all
trim levels are geared with a high-torque Lineartronic CVT and an X-Mode system
with Hill Descent Control.
Based on Subaru Global Platform, the vehicle
also comes with enhanced stability, agility and ride control. What is also
notable about this particular model, is the safety suite. New 2019 Ascent comes
with EyeSight Drive Assist Technology, which includes Automatic Pre-Collision
Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure and Sway Warning.
