TRUCK TREND jurors, which consist of trucks experts from all over USA, have selected RAM 1500 as the 2019 Pickup Truck of the Year, following an intense weeklong testing and evaluation of eight machines that have undergone more than 1,300 miles of demanding challenges in California.
2019 Ram 1500 has come out on top, after completing demanding tests, comprised of performance testing, hauling, towing, fuel economy calculation and off-road capabilities – in fact, the test was consisted of all important disciplines in which every truck owner would expect competency by the machine he/she is driving.
All-new 2019 Ram 1500 comes in full-size segment and choice between an eTorque mild hybrid system and V6 or an V8 engine configuration. This model is lighter than predecessors with a total of 225 pounds and features advanced materials and engineering that have resulted in more rigid body construction and enhanced performance rates. Furthermore, the vehicle features new Uconnect 4C with large 12-inch touchscreen, 360-degree camera and exclusive content from SiriusXM with 360L technology. Of course, engineering team has included active safety and security systems as cruise control, automatic emergency braking and blind-spot monitoring. Neat!
