2019 Honda HR-V receives a top rating from IIHS

2019 Honda HR-V has earned a TOP SAFETY PICK rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, when equipped with the optional front crash prevention pack. The vehicle has managed to achieve “Good” rating in all six crashworthiness tests and a “Superior” rating for the available Collision Mitigation Braking System.

Featuring tons of utility and technological goodies, 2019 HR-V has also received numerous updates to the entire body structure, which improves frontal crash performance. Furthermore, Honda Sensing is now a standard feature on the EX and above trims, which includes Forward Collision Warning, Road Departure Mitigation, Lane Keeping Assist System and Adaptive Cruise Control. What is also new about this particular model, is the optional V Touring trim level, which adds multi-element LED headlights. Sweet!

Furthermore, 2019 HR-V is the sixth Honda model to receive a top safety rating from IIHS. 2019 Accord, CR-V, Pilot and Odyssey have also received recognitions and high ratings. In fact, Insight has earned a TOP SAFETY PICK+, institute’s highest rating. Having said that, we must also mention that every Honda model that has been evaluated by NHTSA, has earned top 5-Star Overall Vehicle Score.
