Like its previous versions, the 2013 Mustang RTR takes the best of multiple automotive cultures and tastefully meshes them with the incredible 2013 Ford Mustang in the form of a dealer-installed package that is currently available in select Ford dealerships around the world. RTR has landed on a very impressive suspension package utilizing Ford Racing adjustable shocks and springs, as well as 4-way adjustable RTR sway bars, RTR adjustable panhard bar, and RTR rear chassis brace – all of which utilize superior Whiteline bushings. With production scheduled for second quarter of 2011, the engineers at Ford Racing were recently testing the new BOSS 302S at Homestead-Miami Speedway. DEARBORN, Mich., Aug. 20 /PRNewswire/ — Ford Racing has announced today the availability of a new, 2.3L twin-screw supercharger for the 2011 Mustang. When mated to the all-new 5.0L 4V TiVCT V8 engine, this 50-state-legal powertrain, can produce 624 hp SAE @ 6900 rpm and 536 lb-ft SAE @ 4700 rpm. This is the first Twin-screw unit available to consumers.
Ford Racing has presented the 2010 NASCAR Nationwide Series Mustang, creating a moment that will enter the company’s history. The company is determined to take this year’s trophy home, with Jamie Allison, director of Ford North America Motorsports announcing that if a Ford Driver wins Friday night’s event, he will get a 412 hp 2011 5.0 liter Mustang GT production car.

Like the production 2011 Mustang, Vaughn’s new ride features several new upgrades. The chassis and suspension have been updated using the knowledge gained from the 2009 season, and the looks have been tweaked to match Gitton’s ponycar for the street, the RTR-C Mustang. Falken Tire remains as a sponsor and has provided their brand new RT-615K tires to be sacrificed on track, and a version of Ford Racing’s 4.6-liter supercharged V8 is still under the hood.
