Building cool cars for charity is nothing new, but this 2011 Mustang has a better pedigree than most of those auction flyers that make a big splash and then vanish forever. Built with input from skateboarder Tony Hawk and assembled by the guys at Galpin Auto Sports (you know, the same guys who build the hardware on the hit TV show “Pimp My Ride”), this is no paint and sticker upgrade, but a comprehensive redesign of the 2011 Mustang that addresses everything from horsepower to interior accommodations.

The 2011 Mustang is new in a lot of ways, but the styling was left alone after the 2010 update, so that’s where Tony and Galpin Auto Sports started. A 0-mile Mustang GT was secured and shipped directly to Galpin’s shop, where the transformation took place. The first change was the addition of a Street Scene body kit, which includes a custom front fascia, rocker skirts, upper and lower side scoops, a new rear valence, as well as a trick wing that is surprisingly low profile in today’s tuner world. Brilliant silver paint covers every inch of the bodywork, and has been polished and buffed well beyond factory specification. Black graphics were added, a design that echoes the past greats like the Boss 302, but with a modern twist. The hood was also blacked-out and creates a stripe that extends to the rear deck lid and even between the tail lights, and a custom Tony Hawk logo was emblazoned on its surface, reminiscent of a 21st century Firebird. Gothic-looking Tony Hawk initials adorn the front fenders and Tony’s signature has been added to the rear bumper. Nobody is going to mistake this for a garden-variety Mustang. Read more! There is nothing that expresses the pure McLaren brand than the new McLaren sports car, the MP4-12C.  Although this is a supercar, it is not an inaccessible one and although its £168,500 might seem expensive to many of us, it is the fastest road car that money can buy.

The car is stunningly beautiful. Its 600 bhp of raw power comes from a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 and it will take you to 124 mph from rest in just ten seconds. Much of it is constructed from carbon fibre and it has a revolutionary suspension system that uses hydraulically inter-connected dampers.

The car is unmistakably McLaren. It shape is designed to provide the ultimate in aerodynamic performance and by employing the same technology and wind tunnel that is used to design formula One race cars everything has been designed to provide optimum downforce as well a minimising drag.

We’ve seen our fair share of chromed cars – everything from an Audi R8 V10 to a Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster – but here’s something American – a real muscle car.

Talk about a flashy Camaro, literally! Vinyl wraps have been all the rage in the aftermarket, allowing car owners to change up their car’s color completely and unlimited times, but also 100% reversible. The Czech guys from Tintek.cz – specialist in wrapping sports cars – are back with a new chrome vinyl. They outfitted the vinyl to a Chevrolet Camaro SS and an Audi TT.

Tintek says the Camaro is the first chrome application of this kind in the Czech Republic, as the effect is not obtained by painting the car but by applying a special 3-D foil over the original paintwork.
