Here we present you this awesome 1970 Mustang Boss 429 just completed by the guys at Peak Performance Restorationsa. The muscle car features Kaase replica Boss 429 heads on a 460 block, bored and stroked to 545ci delivering an amazing 850 horse power! A 

The Boss 429 is arguably one of the rarest and most valued muscle cars to date. In total there were 1,358 Boss 429′s made. The origin of the Boss 429 comes about as a result of NASCAR. Ford was seeking to develop a Hemi enginethat could compete with the famed 426 Hemi from Chrysler. NASCAR’s rules required that at least 500 cars be fitted with this motor and sold to the general public. After much consideration, it was decided by Ford that the Mustang would be the car that would house this new engine.

In 1970 there were 499 Boss 429′s made by Ford Motor Company. There were five new exterior colors (Grabber Orange, Grabber Green, Grabber Blue, Calypso Coral, and Pastel Blue) and the interior was available in White or Black. The hood scoops for this year were all painted black regardless of the color of the car. These cars also had a manual transmission and no AC was available.

These cars were rated conservatively at 375 horsepower and 450 ft lbs of torque. Actual output was just over 500 horsepower . The manufacturers and dealers only listed 375hp because of legal issues and rising insurance costs.

In present day, these cars are highly sought after. As of 2008, auctions on Ebay and at Barrett-Jacksonhave brought bids of over $250,000.

Truly one-of-a-kind, this 1967 Ford Mustang Pro Touring Fastback has been hand-built from the ground up and is a multi-award winner! What’s more, this muscle car is AUTOGRAPHED by CARROLL SHELBY himself on the dash!! What a masterpiece! As far as we know, this muscle car has been officially named “NITEMARE” because it is just that intense!

This build was a joint effort between two top restoration shops: CUSTOM CLASSIC RESTORATIONS in Illinois, and BILLUPS AUTO BODY in Oklahoma. Both known for building ONLY THE BEST! Ladies and gentlemen, the exceptionally clean muscle car – the 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 offered here is likely the finest factory original anywhere, and is one of the rarest. This Mach 1 packs it’s factory 428 Cobra Jet Ram Air engine, 4-speed manual transmission, and 3.50 traction lok differential. This amazing Mustang was a poster car for the Sta-Fast Tape Company, and proudly garnished the cover of the May 2007 edition of Hemmings Muscle Machines Magazine. This delightful find is heavily documented with it’s original factory build sheet, original factory invoice and window sticker, original warranty book with owner’s card, Deluxe Marti Report, a copy of a previous owner’s Virginia title showing 17k actual miles in 1990, a 2003 Letter from Ford verifying the car and it’s original equipment, the original owner’s manual, and a letter from Kevin Marti declaring this car to be 1 of only 28 to have been built as this one was. 1970 Dodge Charger R/T Race Hemi Setup is today’s featured muscle car. As you can see from the pictures, this is a completely restored classic muscle car with the following upgrades:

The suspension was completely upgraded with a full Hotchkis Suspension Kit including sub-frame connector. The Braking system was upgraded with a Wilwood disc system. The 440 engine was replaced with a “true vintage race hemi engine” with a dual plug setup with original Accel dual head distributor and a cross-ram intake. The engine was completely rebuilt with the street in mind – 425 HP Plus…

The transmission is a 727 Automatic with a reverse manual valve body, meaning you shift gears on the console. (PRN123) More than $80K was spent on this drive-line. You will not find another engine setup like this. Custom exhaust with ceramic coated pipes and Magnaflow system make the Charger shake the ground. The 2013 Ford Shelby GT500 has made a big splash at Ford Canada dealerships. It is also one of the hottest selling muscle cars throughout North America. A big reason for that is power.
