It is a frame off restoration, every part disassembled and painted which means no tape lines. The firewall/engine compartment has been filled/smoothed and painted as well as the frame. The builder and previous owner of this car owns a custom body shop. This car drives and handles like a brand new car and I not a brand new 1970. This is a true muscle car through and through! DETROIT – The road-racing inspired Camaro 1LE performance package returns for 2013 with unique gearing, suspension tuning, and tires that makes the model capable of more than 1 g of lateral acceleration and a sub-three minute lap time at Virginia International Raceway’s Grand Course. It is offered on Camaro SS coupes with manual transmissions.

“The Camaro 1LE combines the best elements of the SS and ZL1 to take road-racing performance to a whole new level,” said Al Oppenheiser, Camaro chief engineer. “That the 1LE breaks the three-minute lap at VIR puts it in the upper echelon of performance cars. That it starts under $40,000 makes the Camaro 1LE one of the most affordable, most capable track-day cars offered by any manufacturer.”

A Resto-Mod on an actual Mach 1 body made to look like a 1969 BOSS. Features a Keith Craft Racing 408cid Stroker motor with 525hp and 500 ft/lbs of torque, Tremec TKO 600 5-speed transmission, custom aluminum driveshaft, 9″ rear end with 3.50 gears, Wilwood 6 piston front brakes and 4 piston rears drilled and slotted, custom True Forged wheels 18×10 with 295-35-18 rear and 18×8.5 with 255-40-18 front Nitto tires, Rod and Custom 1969 Mustang II front suspension and leaf springs in back with Fays 2 watts link. Also has a two tone Debeers black paint hood scoop and stripe on the hood and tail light panel done in semi-gloss black with the rest of the car in gloss black.

This car was a rotisserie restoration. The interior features black micro suede Corbeau seats with the back seats done to match along with the door panels, a custom built 4-point roll bar, JME gauge cluster, Corbeau 5-point harness and Alpine stereo system. The engine features Griffin radiator with custom fan shroud and electric fans, MSD ignition, power steering, Billet Specialties black True Trac serpentine belt and pulley system, Vintage Air conditioning, custom exhaust, Spintech mufflers, Aeromotive and Russel fuel system and much more. Disturbing the Peace 1968 Camaro is a really cool muscle car project between Cherry Bomb and YearOne. It seems the creators wanted to combine the modern day technology and the sweet 60′s style… and they succeeded.

Some of the specifications of this hotrod is a LsX based engine, modified with the addition of an 8-71 BDS blower, a BDS intercooler system, electronic fuel injection, aftermarket EFI and coil pack controllers, a custom accessory drive system and Cherry Bomb’s side pipes exhaust. The gearbox is a T-56 Magnum 6-Speed by Tremec, rear axle is Moser, front axle – Detroit Speed and Engineering Quadra-Link suspension. Brakes are 6-piston Baer’s 6S.

The interior will be manufactured by YearOne  with restoration parts, classic instruments’ gauges and custom cerullo seats. The paintjob is amazing – Cherry Bomb red over black with gloss stripes, black powder coated trim and details. Take a look at the awesome gallery!
