Dodge auctioned the first production 707-horsepower 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat VIN0001, the most powerful and fastest muscle car ever, for $825,000 at the Sept. 27 Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas 2014 auction benefitting Opportunity Village, a not-for-profit organization that serves people with significant intellectual disabilities in the Las Vegas area. The Engelstad Family Foundation of Las Vegas matched the auction price, bringing the grand total raised for Opportunity Village to $1.65 million. With their generous donation, the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat raised more money for charity than any other car in Barrett-Jackson history.

Equipped with Chrysler Group’s segment-exclusive TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission, the new Challenger SRT Hellcat has earned a highway fuel-economy rating of 22 miles per gallon (mpg) from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
Dodge is upping its high-performance game again with the unveiling of the new 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat.
The new Charger SRT Hellcat will feature the supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI® Hellcat V-8 engine that produces 707 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque – making it the quickest, fastest, most powerful production sedan in the world, as well as the most capable and technologically advanced four-door muscle car in America.

The 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is the fastest muscle car ever with a National Hot Rod Association-certified ¼-mile elapsed time of 11.2 seconds at 125 miles per hour (mph) with stock Pirelli P275/40ZR20 P Zero tires. With drag radials, the run dropped to just 10.8 seconds at 126 mph!
Chrysler Group’s SRT brand is expanding its MY2014 vehicle lineup with the addition of three new Satin Vapor Editions. The vehicles to get the treatment are the Chrysler 300 SRT, Dodge Challenger SRT and Dodge Charger SRT. The models are currently exhibited at the Chicago Auto Show. Every Satin Vapor Edition package is specifically created to fit the individual design and personality of each featured SRT model.
2014 Chrysler 300 SRT Satin Vapor Edition sports 20-inch by-9-inch forged-aluminum split five-spoke wheels that are finished in Black Satin Vapor Chrome. Other features here are the Satin Black mirrors, Satin Black spoiler, grey 6.4-liter HEMI badge, Satin Black roof and red Brembo calipers. The choice of exterior paint colors includes Bright White, Billet Silver and Granite Crystal. There is also an optional black body stripe available.

Called Project Ultraviolet, it starts with a Dodge Challenger SRT8 purchased in downtown LA. The muscle car is being built to show off new technology and a brand new engine – declared “an amazing thing” in the video – that Chrysler will be unveiling in Las Vegas.
One of the sweetest pieces of motorized candy that will be served at this year’s edition of SEMA will be the Dodge Challenger SRT8 ACR, a vehicle that will follow the recipe of the Nurburgring record-setting Viper SRT10 ACR.
The vehicle’s long list of performance mods starts with a Mopar coil-over suspension, a short-throw shifter, front and rear strut tower braces, lightweight alloy rims with Goodyear F1 Supercar tires, carbon fiber hood and boot lid, as well as certain engine goodies, such as a cat back exhaust.
