Chevrolet today introduced the 2016 Silverado Realtree® Edition – an outdoors-inspired special edition that leverages the strength, versatility and personalization possibilities of the Silverado and distinguishes it with camo graphics from Realtree, the world’s leading camouflage brand. It’s the latest and strongest example of a decade-long partnership between Chevrolet and Realtree.

Chevy Trucks are on a roll, with Chevrolet pickup sales up 32 percent so far this year. Chevrolet intends to strengthen this momentum with significant updates for the 2016 Silverado 1500 full-size pickup.
“The redesigned 2016 Silverado will build on Chevy Trucks’ legacy of dependability. It will feature a more muscular appearance and offer new customer-focused technologies,” said Sandor Piszar, marketing director for Chevy Trucks.
2015 Chevrolet Silverado High Country goes on sale this summer offering comfort and capability, well-appointed interior and advanced technologies. The vehicle is Chevrolet’s first premium heavy-duty pickup that offers the refinement and convenience of the Silverado 1500 High Country and the rugged capability of the Silverado 2500HD and 3500HD pickups.
Some of the highlights in the exterior include chrome grille with horizontal bars, body-color front bumper and CornerStep rear bumper. All models feature 6-inch tubular chrome assist steps, High Country badges on the doors and tailgate and High Country logos on the door sill plates. The Silverado 2500HD High Country models run on 20-inch chrome wheels, while 3500HD – on 18-inch chrome or 17-inch forged polished aluminum wheels.
The specialists at Lingenfelter have just shown the latest project they have been working on – they have enhanced the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado with a special edition Supercharged Reaper Package. The latter enhances the vehicle not only in terms of performance but also improves its visual appearance.
The body of this Chevrolet has been restyled via Southern Comfort Reaper Package that comprises of front clip restyling grill, high clearance bumper with reinforced skid plate, integrated Rigid Industries Flood light system, daytime LED running lights, Fox Racing Suspension system, Corsa Performance exhaust package.
Chevrolet Performance is back at the Woodward Dream Cruise this weekend at Memorial Park in Royal Oak, where it will display a collection of performance vehicles – including the all-new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray – parts and accessories, and host autograph sessions with automotive personalities Linda Vaughn, Courtney Hansen and Izod IndyCar driver Will Power.
Chevrolet will air five 30-second commercials during Super Bowl XLV Sunday on FOX, representing only part of a coordinated TV presence that continues into a special post-game episode of “Glee,” the FOX hit musical comedy. The Camaro, Cruze Eco, Silverado HD and Volt will be featured in a combination of in-game and post-game ads, plus Chevy is presenting a Camaro Convertible to the Most Valuable Player from Super Bowl XLV between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers. After all, Bigfoot has left its Ford pickup body for a new Chevrolet Silverado one. For more than 35 years Bigfoot was associated with Ford, but no more. We all know, that for many people this news would hurt so much, but there it is – Bigfoot changes the team. There are so much news that we all would take easily, but not and this one.
Bigfoot is said to lead the monster truck public relationships, but Ford dropped its sponsorship of the team in 2007. That left Firestone tires as the main sponsor, and since the company also throws plenty of cash at the Major League Baseball All-Star Game, it’s aching for some cross-promotion. Since Chevrolet also sponsors the event, Big Foot will be wearing new skin and a heart transplant. We’ll see what is going to happen now.
