1968 Shelby GT500 KR Convertible - The rarest GT500KR for sale - Muscle Cars BlogToday’s eBay find of the day is this 1968 Shelby GT500 KR Convertible. What about telling you this is the rarest GT500 in the World! In addition to that, it was once owned by Mrs. Shelby. As far as we know, this GT500KR was created specifically for her and painted in her favorite color nail polish, Royal Maroon.

The muscle cars fans probably know that 2 more Coupes were also built and painted in the same color, but this IS THE ONLY CONVERTIBLE. It also had a feature article in Muscle Car Review July 2012. Click on Read More for images!

2012 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 on ADV.1 Wheels - Muscle Cars BlogThe Corvette ZR1 is one of those pieces of US metal that make many, many, European go-fast rides want to cry and go hide in a shed. Thus, ZR1 owners are extremely proud of their rides and want to offer their car tributes, as a sign of gratitude for all the performance.

This is exactly the case here, with a yellow example of the ZR1, which was gifted with a set of custom shoes. The 640 hp ‘Vette was touched by Advance One Wheels, which fitted it with a set of ADV07TS rims.

The wheels use a black finish for the center and a brushed aluminum finish for the lips, with the contrast between the two acting like an attention magnet. The rims, which come in a 20-inch size, are wrapped in Invo Nitto rubber. Click on read more for more images!

2008 Dodge Challenger Mr. Norms Convertible

2008 Dodge Challenger Mr. Norms Convertible - Muscle Cars BlogI think that RK Motors Charlotte is a great muscle cars expert and here come the details:

The first thing you notice about this car is what you didn’t notice first: it’s a convertible. Dodge hasn’t built any Challenger convertibles [yet] but this one looks so right that it takes a second glace for most people to understand that this is not OEM, but an exceptional custom piece. The second thing you notice is that it’s not just a Challenger that has gone topless, but rather an extremely special vehicle: Mr. Norm (Krause) had this car built for himself, and it is not only a convertible, but it is also the first Mr. Norm’s Super Challenger, the first Kenne-Bell supercharged Super Challenger, and was custom built (as a hardtop) for the 2008 SEMA show in Las Vegas. Forty years ago, this would be like getting the first Hemi ‘Cuda convertible ever built, and if you’re a fan of Mr. Norm, perhaps it’s even sweeter than that.

Oh, and did I mention that it makes 600 horsepower? Click on Read more and check out the FANTASTIC gallery!
