continues to build on their theme of DETROIT MUSCLE | REDEFINED by launching a limited
quantity of ROUSH Stage 3 (RS3) Mustangs aptly defined as the Hyper-Series.
The 2012 ROUSH Stage 3 Mustang is powered by a 50-state legal TVS 2.3L ROUSHcharger®
system that delivers over 540HP and 465 ft/lbs of torque. The powertrain works in concert with
the ROUSH-calibrated suspension that lowers the Mustang by almost an ince, and enables the
vehicle to pull over 1G of lateral force on a dry skid pad. The ROUSH-tuned performance
exhaust delivers a throaty growl that let’s everyone know that you’re piloting some Detroit

While everybody keeps their eyes on the 2010 Paris Auto Show, the specialists at ROUSH have released an enhanced version of the 2011 5XR Mustang. Thanks to the factory-installed ROUSHcharger, the muscle car now sports no less than 525 horsepower and 630 Nm of torque.
LIVONIA, Mich. (August 26, 2010) – Since the day Ford announced the new 5.0L engine for the 2011 Mustang, people have been asking, “What is ROUSH® going to do with that engine? When will the ROUSHcharger® be available?”
Two automotive icons, legendary racer and manufacturer Carroll Shelby, and world-renowned racer, engineer and designer Jack Roush, have come together in their first vehicle collaboration project to join Ford in creating a one-off 2011 Mustang, the aviation-themed SR-71 “Blackbird.” The one-of-a-kind vehicle will be sold at the Gathering of Eagles July 29 during the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) 2010 AirVenture Oshkosh, the world’s greatest aviation celebration. Ford is the exclusive automotive partner of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh and all of the proceeds from the sale will benefit the EAA Young Eagles organization. EAA AirVenture Oshkosh will be held from July 26 to Aug. 1 at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wis.
The first model of the limited edition high performance Barrett-Jackson Edition Roush Mustang was sold this weekend during the Barrett-Jackson auction at the South Florida Fairgrounds for $100,000, an amount in the vicinity of what its creators expected.
