Geiger Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 - Muscle Cars BlogGeiger Cars is a famous and traditional importer of American muscle cars in Europe. The tuning company presents the Geiger Ford Shelby GT with a power upgrade and a few styling modifications. The Geiger Ford Shelby GT is powered by a 5.4 liter V8 engine with 3.3 l compressor with 1.6 bar supercharging pressure that develops 810 PS / 541 kW at 6,700 rpm and 945 Nm of torque at 4,300 rpm – this is just amazing!

To handle all that muscle car power, the Geiger Ford Shelby GT is equipped with custom cylinder heads, a modified injection system, larger throttle valves, a sport air filter, 100 mm air flow meter and a cold air box. Some other modifications are an aluminum rocker arm, a forged crank drive, a 3 disc carbon clutch, a reinforced transmission with shortened 5th and 6th gears, an increased differential and engine oil cooler. Also has a two tone Debeers black paint hood scoop and stripe on the hood and tail light panel done in semi-gloss black with the rest of the car in gloss black.

This car was a rotisserie restoration. The interior features black micro suede Corbeau seats with the back seats done to match along with the door panels, a custom built 4-point roll bar, JME gauge cluster, Corbeau 5-point harness and Alpine stereo system. The engine features Griffin radiator with custom fan shroud and electric fans, MSD ignition, power steering, Billet Specialties black True Trac serpentine belt and pulley system, Vintage Air conditioning, custom exhaust, Spintech mufflers, Aeromotive and Russel fuel system and much more. Ring Brothers Mustangs - The Copperback - Muscle Cars Blog“Copperback” – Ring Brothers created this Mustang custom known as “COPPERBACK”. Copperback was selected by Jack Roush as the National Winner of the Goodguys 2007 “Ford in a “Ford” Award. Nestled under the hood is a 427cid Fuel Injected Roush Racing engine with aluminum heads developing 560hp. Power is transmitted through a heavy duty Tremec 5-speed transmission. Large 6-piston Baer brakes are on all four wheels and the level of the ride is controlled by Air Ride Technology. Suspension is by Alston and the steering rack by Total Control. The stainless exhaust system is dual and side-exiting.

This original BFGoodrich HURST/Woodhouse Ford Mustang made its debut as the official pace car at the Ford Racing Mustang Challenge race on Sept. 19, 2009. This stunning HURST/Mustang pace car features massive 20″ HURST polished, forged aluminum wheels with gold pointed center spokes wrapped in BFGoodrich g-Force KDW tires for maximum performance.

The cars are distinctive, with painted gold racing stripes and official pace car logos on white. Each car has a special white convertible top, boot and interior. The exterior delivers HURST identity with subtle detailing and features including real metal badges and a unique HURST Air-Speed rear deck spoiler. The gold HURST T-handle shifter is the centerpiece of the interior for both manual and automatic cars and the seats and floor mats feature the famous HURST gold and black “H” logos. Handling and attitude are provided by Eibach, with HURST-tuned coilover shocks, springs and sway bars. Under the hood, the Roush Supercharged engine pounds out 435+hp and over 400 lb/ft of torque with Magnaflow custom-tuned stainless steel performance exhaust finishing off the sound and performance statement with authority. The Shelby team unveiled a supercharged concept version of the Mustang-based 2011 Shelby GT350 to the surprise of thousands gathered at the Barrett-Jackson Auction Opening Night Gala to honor the 45th anniversary of the first GT350 and first Shelby big block Cobra.

Ford Mustang GT 2011 Paces Daytona 500

A special one-of-a-kind 2011 Mustang GT will be prepared. It is  powered by the new 5.0-liter V-8 engine producing 412 horsepower. This car symbolizes the first time in 40 years a Ford Motor Company product has paced the field at the Daytona 500. The last Ford pace car at the Daytona 500 was the 1970 Torino GT convertible.

A special Daytona 500 race red paint job with blue and white stripes will be prepared. The “pony” is tuned with Ford racing suspension, strut tower brace, mufflers, unique painted wheels and special interior treatment including lighted sill plates. This Mustang will be among the first 2011 models available to the public.

What’s more – it will be offered for auction at the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction on Saturday January 23rd. All incomes over MSRP will go to help cure childhood diabetes through a donation to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

California Special For Mustang 2011 In Detroit 2010

Ford is releasing a variation of its new V8 5.0-powered Mustang, starting with the California Special for 2011. The GT/CS was last introduced as a 2007 model and featured a unique appearance and wheel package available only on the premium GT coupe and convertible. There is no official release by Ford about any details on the new GT/CS, but it looks like the 2011 model will have similar features.

Some of the new details on the GT/CS are the larger and more aggressive spoiler painted in matte black as well as a horizontal bar grille featuring the pony logo on one side. The rear is enhanced by a new lower fascia with a GT500-style diffuser and a taller decklid spoiler. Finally, GT/CS graphics, a set of side scoops and a set of 10-spoke wheels round out the exterior enhancements.

2011 Mustang GT & Nelly – The Hip-Hop Muscle Team

Luxury cars and hip-hop music belong to each other, so the news that Grammy Award-winning artist Nelly will include the 2011 Mustang 5.0-liter V-8  in his upcoming album’s artwork is no surprise for us. The album, set to launch this spring, will feature a 2011 Mustang GT customized by DUB Magazine.

“I don’t care where you grew up, everyone knows the Mustang. At some point, you’ve had a conversation about a Mustang – and it was probably one about you wanting to get behind the wheel of one,” says the 35-year-old rapper. “I’ve always loved the Mustang; the vehicle has power to the point where you can’t help but want to hit the pedal. And the newest one? More power, hotter style.”
