Geiger Ford Mustang Shelby GT500
Geiger Cars is a famous and traditional importer of American muscle cars in Europe. The tuning company presents the Geiger Ford Shelby GT with a power upgrade and a few styling modifications. The Geiger Ford Shelby GT is powered by a 5.4 liter V8 engine with 3.3 l compressor with 1.6 bar supercharging pressure that develops 810 PS / 541 kW at 6,700 rpm and 945 Nm of torque at 4,300 rpm – this is just amazing!
To handle all that muscle car power, the Geiger Ford Shelby GT is equipped with custom cylinder heads, a modified injection system, larger throttle valves, a sport air filter, 100 mm air flow meter and a cold air box. Some other modifications are an aluminum rocker arm, a forged crank drive, a 3 disc carbon clutch, a reinforced transmission with shortened 5th and 6th gears, an increased differential and engine oil cooler. Geiger rates the top speed of the Geiger Ford Shelby GT at … 354 km/h. The price will be announced at later time. Check out the specifications and image gallery after the jump.

This muscle car is described as “the crown jewel”: The Tractorri. Shortly, this is a body-in-white ’07 Mustang shell with the mechanicals from a Lamborghini Gallardo underneath. From the ABS to the AWD to the E-gear transmission everything works. The long version adds two more Mustangs for parts, thousands of hours of labor and enough one-off parts to make most show cars blush. This is a werewolf in wolf’s clothing!
For those of you who are interested, Ford has released two new crate engines. Here are the details of the two engines:
“Copperback” – Ring Brothers created this Mustang custom known as “COPPERBACK”. Copperback was selected by Jack Roush as the National Winner of the Goodguys 2007 “Ford in a “Ford” Award. Nestled under the hood is a 427cid Fuel Injected Roush Racing engine with aluminum heads developing 560hp. Power is transmitted through a heavy duty Tremec 5-speed transmission. Large 6-piston Baer brakes are on all four wheels and the level of the ride is controlled by Air Ride Technology. Suspension is by Alston and the steering rack by Total Control. The stainless exhaust system is dual and side-exiting.
The one and only original pace car for the Ford Racing Mustang Challenge Series.
Official Press Release:
A special one-of-a-kind 2011 Mustang GT will be prepared. It is powered by the new 5.0-liter V-8 engine producing 412 horsepower. This car symbolizes the first time in 40 years a Ford Motor Company product has paced the field at the Daytona 500. The last Ford pace car at the Daytona 500 was the 1970 Torino GT convertible.
Ford is releasing a variation of its new V8 5.0-powered Mustang, starting with the California Special for 2011. The GT/CS was last introduced as a 2007 model and featured a unique appearance and wheel package available only on the premium GT coupe and convertible. There is no official release by Ford about any details on the new GT/CS, but it looks like the 2011 model will have similar features.
Luxury cars and hip-hop music belong to each other, so the news that Grammy Award-winning artist Nelly will include the 2011 Mustang 5.0-liter V-8 in his upcoming album’s artwork is no surprise for us. The album, set to launch this spring, will feature a 2011 Mustang GT customized by DUB Magazine.
