A new video was released on YouTube of the new 2011 Mustang GT 5.0 liter V8 in action. You’ll see it driving around the roads of Michigan. In the video you can hear the awesome purr of the new 5.0 liter as well as how the new car handles.
And yes, the 5.0 is back! The 2011 Ford Mustang GT arrives with an all-new advanced 5.0-liter V-8 engine, developed by a passionate cadre of enthusiastic engineers who rallied around the common goal of delivering more than 400 horsepower.

The modern 5.0-liter four-valve Twin Independent Variable Camshaft Timing (Ti-VCT) V-8 engine in the new Mustang GT will deliver 412 horsepower and 390 ft.-lb. of torque. At the same time, fuel economy is projected to be better than the previous model and unsurpassed in the segment.

Ford Racing is presenting the 2010 Mustang BOSS 302R, the next-generation racing Mustang, which pays tribute to the legendary Bud Moore Engineering Mustang BOSS 302.The new factory-built race car boasts new 5.0-liter V-8 engine with six-speed manual transmission, roll cage, race seats, safety harness, data acquisition and race dampers/springs, and a Brembo brake and tire package.

Specially designed for track days and road racing in a number of Grand-Am, SCCA and NASA classes, the new Mustang BOSS 302R has a MSRP of $79,000. Equipped with a special Grand-Am Homologation Package (M-FR500-BOSS R1), it will also be ready to compete in the Grand-Am Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge series (formerly known as KONI Challenge). The MSRP of the specially fitted Mustang BOSS 302R1 is $129,000.

“To keep pace with consumer demand, the Ford team has built modern versions of the most iconic performance Mustangs over the years,” said Jamie Allison, director, Ford North America Motorsports. “From Shelbys to Bullitt, Mach and Cobra Jet, it is now time for BOSS to join the list of America’s most coveted Mustangs. For years they walked past the original 5.0-liter V-8 Coyote Indy racing engine on display in the lobby, continually inspired by its mix of heritage, high technology and horsepower.

With the help of driving teachers from Fast Lane Racing School, the gamers had the opportunity to learn the in and outs of the actual sport of racing. Shelby GT500CRClassic Recreations has just released some preliminary technical details and specifications for the GT 500 CR. All three GT 500 CR models will feature a hand-built 7.0L engine, model specific bodywork, custom paint and hand-stitched upholstery. Every car should be marked with an official Shelby serial number, badges and will be included in the official Shelby Worldwide Registry.

The “Intro” model is powered by a 545hp fuel injected 7.0 L engine, built by Classic Recreations using top-shelf performance parts and Mass Flo digital fuel injection. A 150hp NOS provides extra power. Suspension and power rack and pinion steering modernize the car’s handling, and a 5 speed manual transmission sends the power to the 17×8″ Shelby wheels over front and rear cross drilled Shelby/Baer brakes. Inside some of the extras are a custom stereo, climate control and Carroll Shelby Signature seats, gauges, console, and floormats. The exterior is available in five different color schemes and features authentic Shelby Performance parts, such as lights, emblems and a real Shelby Le Mans racing gas cap.
