This year’s edition of SEMA will feature the usual slew of over-the-top, modified cars with all sorts of wild mods, ranging from crazy paint finishes and liveries, to engine swaps and mechanical modifications – all appreciated in their own way, and by a distinct crowd.

One of the real expected crowd-pullers is this, the Dodge Charger Juiced concept. It features a plain paint finish, with some plain wheels, and a plain and subtle body kit, and that’s about it. However, as it is most often the case, it’s what you don’t see that really makes a difference, and in this case, a very big difference – 8.4-liters-worth to be precise. 1970 Dodge Charger R/T Race Hemi Setup is today’s featured muscle car. As you can see from the pictures, this is a completely restored classic muscle car with the following upgrades:

The suspension was completely upgraded with a full Hotchkis Suspension Kit including sub-frame connector. The Braking system was upgraded with a Wilwood disc system. The 440 engine was replaced with a “true vintage race hemi engine” with a dual plug setup with original Accel dual head distributor and a cross-ram intake. The engine was completely rebuilt with the street in mind – 425 HP Plus…

The transmission is a 727 Automatic with a reverse manual valve body, meaning you shift gears on the console. (PRN123) More than $80K was spent on this drive-line. You will not find another engine setup like this. Custom exhaust with ceramic coated pipes and Magnaflow system make the Charger shake the ground. The German tuner O.CT-Tuning supercharged the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro SS and offered it in the Yellow Steam Hammer designation.

This 2012 Camaro SS (the European market version), with the 6.2-liter V8 ditched the natural aspiration in favor of a supercharger kit that boosts power to 630 hp and torque to 538 lb-ft (730 Nm). There are many other mods for sure such as stainless steel exhaust system , which also offers the powerplant a deep growl.

In 1964 Ford let the first Mustang come into the world. The model took its place quickly as an alternative to already legendary Thunderbird and became an ancestor to a new generation of the Pony-Car Class. Through different intermediate states and countless niche models and at last we came up to the Mustang V, a model created in 2004.

In this article we will speak about this kind of V8-daredevil with 4.6 L engine capacity and 309 kW. In order to significantly improve the Optics of the advanced Retro-Design vehicle that belonged to the popular movie stars for a long time, we installed the Cervini-Bodykit for 8,000 Euro. We also installed a specially featured exhaust system which included side pipes at both ends to ensure the smooth operation of the hard bar. Moreover, this tomboy is equipped with KW-coilovers with electrically lifting axles and HLS (Hydraulic Lift System) Kit, which solved such well-known problems caused by its smaller ground clearance as emissions on the roadway, problem garage entry and covered parking entry and also problems with so-called speed-blocker. Building cool cars for charity is nothing new, but this 2011 Mustang has a better pedigree than most of those auction flyers that make a big splash and then vanish forever. Built with input from skateboarder Tony Hawk and assembled by the guys at Galpin Auto Sports (you know, the same guys who build the hardware on the hit TV show “Pimp My Ride”), this is no paint and sticker upgrade, but a comprehensive redesign of the 2011 Mustang that addresses everything from horsepower to interior accommodations.

The 2011 Mustang is new in a lot of ways, but the styling was left alone after the 2010 update, so that’s where Tony and Galpin Auto Sports started. A 0-mile Mustang GT was secured and shipped directly to Galpin’s shop, where the transformation took place. The first change was the addition of a Street Scene body kit, which includes a custom front fascia, rocker skirts, upper and lower side scoops, a new rear valence, as well as a trick wing that is surprisingly low profile in today’s tuner world. Brilliant silver paint covers every inch of the bodywork, and has been polished and buffed well beyond factory specification. Black graphics were added, a design that echoes the past greats like the Boss 302, but with a modern twist. The hood was also blacked-out and creates a stripe that extends to the rear deck lid and even between the tail lights, and a custom Tony Hawk logo was emblazoned on its surface, reminiscent of a 21st century Firebird. Gothic-looking Tony Hawk initials adorn the front fenders and Tony’s signature has been added to the rear bumper. Nobody is going to mistake this for a garden-variety Mustang. Read more!
