An iconic Mustang is back in victory lane delivering a race win to the “Blue Oval.” Multimatic Motorsports’ championship driver duo of Scott Maxwell and Joe Foster claimed the first competition victory for the Boss 302R in the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge in GRAND-AM at Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama.

“This is a pretty special victory,” said Scott Maxwell, who was involved in the testing and development of the Boss 302R. “We have come close a few times before so maybe we were overdue, but it hasn’t really sunk in yet. Certainly there is a special legacy in racing the Boss 302R and the amazing job that Parnelli Jones did winning the championship in the Boss.
