Dallas, July 27, 2011 – Mary Kay’s annual Seminar today served as the backdrop of a spectacular unveiling when thousands of Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultants – expecting perhaps to see a new model of the coveted pink Cadillac – were astonished by a brand new, black Ford Mustang entering from behind a thick curtain of smoke and dazzling pyrotechnics. The exhilarated crowd demonstrated their approval of the new family member with roaring cheers and applause. The guys at Inside Line has manged to put together a test of Ford Mustangs – and everyone has something unique to offer: The V6, GT, Boss 302 Laguna Seca and Shelby GT500.
As it happened with the iconic Pontiac Trans Am from the ’80s series K.I.T.T., the Mustang GT from the second series also became the dream of many of the Knight Rider series’ fans. Now, one of the two cars built for the 2008 TV series driven by Justin Bruening as “Michael Knight,” which takes place 25 years after the original show, is set to go under the hammer, the Inside Line reports.

The new 2011 Ford Mustang V6 will serve as the pace car for NASCAR’s Food Land 500 at Bristol International Speedway. What’s special for this model – this will be the second time a Mustang has paced a NASCAR race this year after the new 5.0-liter Mustang GT led the pack at the Daytona 500 in February.
