The GM Vehicle Plant Tour
In order to increase it’s awareness and sales, General Motors has developed an employee personal driving experience sharing program, called The GM Vehicle Plant Tour. According to the sources, in this program employees will be trained at 40 North American plants through a series of personal experiences. Obviously the aim of the company is to offer the company’s vehicles in their employees’ local communities.
Over 40,000 people will take part in this program. The Tour will include monthly stops at important U.S. and Canadian GM plants. Overnight test-drive vehicles will be available. The vehicles included in the campaign are the Chevrolet Equinox, Camaro and Malibu, the Buick LaCrosse, the GMC Terrain and the Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon.
“The hardworking men and women at these plants are focused each day on producing high-quality vehicles,” said Cal Rapson, vice president and director, UAW International. “The UAW is proud to support a program that enlists the help of our members to play an active role in promoting these vehicles in their communities.”

Ragin’ Racin’ offers 5 stages of tuning kits for Chevrolet Corvette and both these cars are stage 5. The difference appears because stage 5 is pretty much custom modification with many variants. Official Press Release:
There is a rumor that says Chevrolet is taking into consideration building a Corvette sedan based on the Holden Commodore. We know that seems a little exaggerated, but the announcement was made apparently by Bob Lutz who said the four-door Corvette sedan will be a limited edition model which will be sold in the United states only. Lutz said a Corvette sedan is not impossible since a brand is not defined by a body shell, but by the engine, traction and transmission.
DETROIT – Corvette Racing program manager Doug Fehan has seen it all in motorsports, and he had to rely on every element of that hard-earned experience to navigate through a tumultuous 2009 season. In the midst of a global economic storm, Fehan steered Corvette Racing to the team’s sixth win in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the successful mid-year introduction of the GT2 version of the Corvette C6.R in the American Le Mans Series.
