As a rule of thumb, consumers should include the cost of insurance in their auto-buying budget since it’s such a vital aspect of owning a car. Many people may not realize that they should buy the insurance before buying the car.
It’s an even lesser known fact, that buying insurance online is where the biggest discounts are. But before you buy car insurance on lacapitale.com or some other website, check out some insurance comparison websites and keep in mind these important items:
Selling your car can be frustrating, and can leave you with a tough choice. You can take it to a dealership, where you can count on getting a price that’s fair for them – but not fair for you. Another option is to try to sell it on your own. You won’t have to put up with the dealer, and you’ll be able to name your price, as long as you’re willing to wait for someone who wants to pay your price. Depending on where you are, you’ll be lucky if a few dozen people a day drive past your “For Sale” sign, and even luckier if any of them stop long enough to look at the car behind it. If you’d rather not choose between a timely sale and a fair price, Car Hut Australia is your solution. Sign up with a free account, and in minutes you’ll be posting photos and information to get your car sold. For a limited time you can also sell my car for free by setting your own price and show your car to hundreds of visitors every day with Car Hut Australia. Read more!

NEW YORK – March 27, 2012 – Shelby American, Inc., a division of Carroll Shelby International (CSBI.PK), will introduce its most powerful Shelby yet on April 5, 2012, at the New York International Auto Show. Carroll Shelby and his team created the Shelby 1000 by starting with a 2012 Ford Shelby GT500 and kicking its handling, horsepower and braking to the performance edge.
The Shelby 1000 will be offered in both a street and a Shelby 1000 S/C “off-road” track version. The street legal, pump gas version dyno’s out at approximately 950 HP, while the track oriented S/C edition is rated at over 1,100 HP.
“Carroll Shelby is a visionary who has pushed the boundaries of performance his entire life,” said John Luft, president of Shelby American. “He challenged the Shelby American team to develop the Shelby 1000 and wanted to unveil this amazing new Shelby at the New York Auto Show celebrating 50 years since he unveiled the very first Shelby Cobra that changed the face of high performance. We will have that very car, Cobra #1 (CSX2000) along with Shelby 1000 on display in our Shelby American booth in New York.”

ROAD & TRACK Magazine features the Venom GT on the Cover of their February, 2011 issue. How does a streetable 933 horsepower at the rear wheels sound? How about 874 lb-ft of torque at the tires? It sounds mighty tasty to us, especially considering that those numbers come courtesy of regular 93 octane pump gas (no race fuel here, kiddies) and, again, are at the wheel. Ditch the drivetrain loss and power at the crank will easily crest 1,000 ponies. Check out the gallery of this awesome and powerful Hennessey Venom GT!
After we presented you an interview with Doug Fehan, and the upcoming challenge for the Corvette C6R at The 24 Hours of Le Mans, we wanted to present you live image of this beautiful racing muscle car – The Chevrolet Corvette C6R GT2.
The shot above was snapped at the garages of Pratt & Miller, the racing outfit contracted by GM to develop and run the racing Corvettes. As we can see, the color scheme is the same black and yellow, but the 2010 C6R has sharper paint job.
The bodywork is built based on an aluminum frame – for instance – the GT1′s frame is made of steel. The brakes are made of steel, too. The power unit of the muscle car is a downsized 5.5-liter V8.
We all hope that the Corvette Racing team is going to beat the competition, dominated by Ferraris and Porsches. Images – below on Read more!

The interior will be manufactured by YearOne with restoration parts, classic instruments’ gauges and custom cerullo seats. The paintjob is amazing – Cherry Bomb red over black with gloss stripes, black powder coated trim and details. Take a look at the awesome gallery!
