The 2012 Chevy Camaro has become the fastest and the most powerful muscle car the world has ever seen. The 2012 Camaro is expected to be as forceful as it’s possible, with the output rating of more than 570 hp! 580 hp, to be precise. Sounds like it’s more than ready for the road. Along with the fierce horsepower, the Camaro makes 550 lb-ft of torque. It goes far ahead than its closest rival, the Cadillac CTS-V.

The Camaro keeps the balance of performance and technology in the one car, with the newest investments in performance traction management and Magnetic Ride Control (MRC). It enables the Camaro’s track-focused suspension shift from hard to soft, depending on the track. Let alone active exhaust that awakens the neighbors. The ZL1′s Magnetic Ride System includes Sport and Tour driver selectable modes up to the preferred style of driving.

The 2012 Camaro comes with automatic transmission and processes damping information every inch. It’s very fast and with the latest advancements in the MR (Magnetic Ride) system.

Muscle Cars Hot Spots - Muscle Cars Blog

The muscle car war is a fact. At Cars.com are celebrating the recent success of America’s reborn muscle cars with an interactive map which show the places, color coded according to the specific car model. The bigger the circle, the larger the search disparity. However, there’s something you should know – the percentages are highest in small towns, so if you live in a big city, a substantial spike in pony car searches is unlikely. Cars.com says that the Mustang has the highest search total of the three vehicles. You should really see the map and enjoy it - http://blogs.cars.com/kickingtires/2010/07/muscle-car-hot-spots.html

The event, hosted by Camaro5.com, is believed to have been the largest-ever gathering of fifth-generation Camaro owners. More than 1,000 people attended the event, driving their 2010 Camaros from across the U.S. and Canada to Valdosta on Friday, April 16.

Residents lined the streets, cheering as a line of Camaros more than three miles long passed by under police escort. The following day, Camaro fans traveled to South Georgia Motorsports Park for a car show, drag races and autocross competitions. The track events ended with Camaro owners getting the rare chance to drive their cars on the 1/2-mile oval track.

“It was an incredible opportunity to see the passion and enthusiasm owners have for the new Camaro,” says Fitzpatrick. “This was such an exciting event that I would not be surprised to see more than 1,000 cars at next year’s Camaro5Fest.”
