Ring Brothers Mustangs - The Copperback - Muscle Cars Blog“Copperback” – Ring Brothers created this Mustang custom known as “COPPERBACK”. Copperback was selected by Jack Roush as the National Winner of the Goodguys 2007 “Ford in a “Ford” Award. Nestled under the hood is a 427cid Fuel Injected Roush Racing engine with aluminum heads developing 560hp. Power is transmitted through a heavy duty Tremec 5-speed transmission. Large 6-piston Baer brakes are on all four wheels and the level of the ride is controlled by Air Ride Technology. Suspension is by Alston and the steering rack by Total Control. The stainless exhaust system is dual and side-exiting.

The First 1966 Shelby GT350 - Muscle Cars BlogThis car, #SFM6S002 is the very first ’66 production Shelby. It is the first of the 252 extremely desirable Shelby “carryover” cars built. #SFM6S001, the first serial numbered ’66 Shelby, was slated to be a ’65 Shelby. That car was modified as the prototype for production 1966 Shelby’s and today retains its prototype status. #SFM6S002 has just received an incredibly complete ground-up restoration in its original Wimbledon White color with Guardsman Blue LeMans stripes. The black interior with original rear seat delete package shelf is just as it was originally built and delivered by Shelby on October 19, 1965. Shortly after the second owner acquired the car, it was extensively raced in the Mid West including Road America, Black Hawk Farms, Grattan, Mid Ohio, Road Atlanta and Watkins Glen. After being acquired from its second owner, the restoration was performed by Cobra Automotive of Wallingford, Connecticut.

Petty's Garage Dodge Challenger SRT8 - Muscle Cars BlogThis one-of-a-kind 2009 Dodge Challenger prototype from Petty’s Garage marries the timeless beauty of the 60′s and 70′s race cars from Petty Enterprises and the craftsmanship of today’s master fabricators and is being sold to benefit the Petty Family foundation. This is serial number 0001 and is the very first street car to come from Petty’s Garage which is located in the famed Level Cross, NC facility. This challenger is titled in Richard Petty’s name and powered by a late model 426cid HEMI from Arrington Engines with 585hp, 560ft/lb of torque and breathing through a 90mm Arrington throttle body and cold air intake. Painted in the trademark Petty Blue by BASF R-M, which is not to be mistaken for B5 Blue or Grabber Blue. This is 1 of only a handful of street cars to ever be painted Petty Blue. The car has been completely disassembled, placed on a rotisserie and repainted, including all suspension components, which are painted “Petty Parts Blue.”

This original BFGoodrich HURST/Woodhouse Ford Mustang made its debut as the official pace car at the Ford Racing Mustang Challenge race on Sept. 19, 2009. This stunning HURST/Mustang pace car features massive 20″ HURST polished, forged aluminum wheels with gold pointed center spokes wrapped in BFGoodrich g-Force KDW tires for maximum performance.

The cars are distinctive, with painted gold racing stripes and official pace car logos on white. Each car has a special white convertible top, boot and interior. The exterior delivers HURST identity with subtle detailing and features including real metal badges and a unique HURST Air-Speed rear deck spoiler. The gold HURST T-handle shifter is the centerpiece of the interior for both manual and automatic cars and the seats and floor mats feature the famous HURST gold and black “H” logos. Handling and attitude are provided by Eibach, with HURST-tuned coilover shocks, springs and sway bars. Under the hood, the Roush Supercharged engine pounds out 435+hp and over 400 lb/ft of torque with Magnaflow custom-tuned stainless steel performance exhaust finishing off the sound and performance statement with authority. Donated by Woodhouse Auto Family, HURST Performance Vehicles and various suppliers to Victory Junction’s newest Camp for Kids in Kansas City, KS.
