Well over $600,000.00 was invested in building this incredible machine, which rockets out of the chute under the spell of a gigantic Tunnel-Port 710 C.I. Chuck Norton engine cranking thru a Lenco 3-Speed to a Mark Williams third member. Rad Rides by Troy is also responsible for the eye catching yet very tasteful designed Orange and Silver paint scheme. Based on a Jerry Bickle Racing Chassis, this car uses a complete Race Pack data logging system to insure maximum performance. This car is a custom 1 of 1 and has never seen the racetrack. Chevrolet Camaro wrapped in chrome vinyl

Chevrolet Camaro wrapped in chrome vinyl - Muscle Cars BlogWe’ve seen our fair share of chromed cars – everything from an Audi R8 V10 to a Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster – but here’s something American – a real muscle car.

Talk about a flashy Camaro, literally! Vinyl wraps have been all the rage in the aftermarket, allowing car owners to change up their car’s color completely and unlimited times, but also 100% reversible. The Czech guys from Tintek.cz – specialist in wrapping sports cars – are back with a new chrome vinyl. They outfitted the vinyl to a Chevrolet Camaro SS and an Audi TT.

Tintek says the Camaro is the first chrome application of this kind in the Czech Republic, as the effect is not obtained by painting the car but by applying a special 3-D foil over the original paintwork. They also offer the chrome effect in gold, black, green, blue, orange, red and violet. This is what I call an original tuning project! Check out the video on Read more!

Various design modifications were implemented to further boast its already muscular appearance. We have added a custom painted front and rear spoiler, body color rear air diffuser, lowering springs by Ford Racing and a very throaty but beautiful sounding Roush exhaust with 4” chrome tips. All of our work is done in house to ensure the highest quality product available. PPG Global paints and clear coat were used. The striping on this car was painted over the original color and then burried under 5 layers of clear coat, wet sanded and polished to a mirror finish. This is far superior to the traditional factory vinyl tape stripe in looks, feel, and durability. Click on Read more for fantastic gallery and more information!

Chevrolet Corvette Gets 4 Doors?

Chevrolet Corvette Gets 4 Doors? - Muscle Cars Blog

Maybe a 4-door Corvette is going to be designed. According to a report by Wards Automotive, it is possible.

If we take a look at another great car – The Porsche Panamera, we can see a 4-door successful selling automobile. With creating a 4-door Corvette, Chevrolet could introduce a higher-volume V6-powered version. This idea is not new – it has been debated in the past with the 2-door Corvette as a way to attract female buyers and those less interested in the car’s V8 performance and more its stylish good looks.

The guys from Autoguide think that it may help GM reduce costs, increase profitability and offer a unique product. Would it devalue the Corvette name? Probably not, considering the Panamera doesn’t seem to have hurt the Porsche 911. Would it be hideous? Quite possibly. But again, that hasn’t seem to hamper sales of Porsche’s new 4-door.

GMC Urban Utility Concept (mentioned previously as the GMC Granite) is the teaser, released by GM, prior to its debut at the 2010 Detroit Auto Show on Monday. The concept hints at a new segment GMC may venture into to compete with the likes of Kia’s Soul and Nissan’s Cube.

“We’ve designed a new breed of truck that’s as efficient as it is chic, innovative as it is functional,” says Frank Saucedo. “Our goal was to create the next generation of urban mobility, fusing a flexible, functional social space with an urban-box design that’s equally at home at the cabin or the club.”
