Dodge Charger Juiced Concept V10 - Muscle Cars BlogThis year’s edition of SEMA will feature the usual slew of over-the-top, modified cars with all sorts of wild mods, ranging from crazy paint finishes and liveries, to engine swaps and mechanical modifications – all appreciated in their own way, and by a distinct crowd.

One of the real expected crowd-pullers is this, the Dodge Charger Juiced concept. It features a plain paint finish, with some plain wheels, and a plain and subtle body kit, and that’s about it. However, as it is most often the case, it’s what you don’t see that really makes a difference, and in this case, a very big difference – 8.4-liters-worth to be precise. This Charger concept hides the Viper SRT V10 engine under its bonnet, putting out 650 hp. The guys at Chrysler really seem to enjoy the challenge of putting this engine into various cars, which end up being monstrously quick – this is probably no exception.

The car also features a Mopar cold air intake, free-flow exhaust and a suspension kit which lowers the car, while also improving the handling. We really like the hood scoop, which actually works, and it does in fact bring cold air from outside into the engine.

The paint job is also a special one and it’s called Copperhead. The exterior features matte black accents and graphics, 20-inch rims and a black spoiler on the front bumper. On the inside, the concept gets Katzin leather seats, an aluminium instrument panel bezel, Mopar gear knob and branded door sill plates.
